Product Introduction
The UCT series, also known as take-up bearing units, features guide slots on both sides of the housing, allowing for axial sliding along the rails of a matching frame. These units are primarily used in the tensioning systems of belt and chain conveyors; by adjusting the position of the bearing housing to alter the shaft center distance, the tension of the belt or chain can be regulated.
The Pillow block Bearings are essentially a variant of Deep Groove Ball Bearings; they are characterized by a spherical outer diameter surface on the outer ring, allowing them to fit into a corresponding concave spherical seat within the bearing housing to provide self-aligning capability. These bearings are primarily designed to accommodate combined radial and axial loads—with radial loads predominating—and are generally unsuitable for bearing axial loads in isolation.

Selection Tips

Regularly inspect the adjustment screw to prevent loosening, which could cause belt slippage
